Stand-alone Teaching Aids

These products can be inserted into a residency program's existing geriatric curriculum with relatively less effort than the methods described in Packaged Methods for Teaching Geriatric Skills. They include:

Planning a One-day Geriatrics Retreat

Aimed primarily at interns, the day-long retreat format provides a positive, fun experience with learning geriatrics early in the residency. An ideal way to kick off a new or expanded geriatric teaching effort, the retreat features uninterrupted time to concentrate on geriatrics, use innovative teaching methods and cover topics difficult to address on busy inpatient wards.
